The owners of these two units were a pleasure to work with. They had a good feeling of what they wanted and that made it easier for us to assist. They also were active in choosing many of the components and made final decisions in a timely manner.
The expansion of the width of the main entry hall and steps was a main desire and resulted in a much more attractive and welcoming hallway. It made a dramatic difference.
The new kitchen is a gourmet’s tropical delight with deluxe bamboo cabinets. Top quality stainless steel appliances, elegant granite counter tops and a radiant glass tile backsplash are also inviting.
The Guest Bath was transformed to act as a second Master Suite. A new entrance was built between the bedroom and the bath to make it a separate suite. The wall was removed between the bedroom and bath, forming a hall with with louvered white plantation style doors on his and her closets, similar to the Master Suite.
Another wall and linen closet were removed between the old shower and vanity area, which now has space for double sinks and a large bathtub. This greatly enlarges the appearance of the bath and makes it more versatile and attractive. Not just another “guest bath”.
The Master Bath shower was also expanded to make it very comfortable & spacious. The floating shower bench and soap/shampoo niche also include glass tile accents. The new tile for all floors also extends up the shower walls for a clean look. The tile is practical 18 inch porcelain and nearly indestructible so it also serves beautifully on the lanai. The minimal grout line is only 1/8th inch and is sealed against stains.
Attractive “Fleetwood” lanai doors roll with finger-tip ease and give the maximum insulation available in doors. This is an important factor with west facing glass doors.
The owners love “peach” so the unit has muted peach walls and white ceilings. This has a very rich and warm look and helps bring the outside in.
You will have to see the unit to enjoy all the other improvements. We don’t have enough room to include them all. These condos will always be Makena Surf model units and favorites of new and return guests.
