On behalf of Sue and I, it is our pleasure to recommend Ron Brown and his company Wailea Interiors and Remodeling.
Ron was initially introduced to us when we were considering an extensive remodel of our Wailea Ekolu condominium. We talked to several of Ron’s previous clients and received positive feedback from all of them. We ended up scrapping the condo remodel in favor of buying a 20 year old home. Not just any home..but the ‘bastard’ home as one neighbor called it. The neighbor was right, and we knew it going in to the decision. The home was outdated, lacked proper care, and had several design and construction flaws that resulted in the home sitting For Sale for an extended period of time. Ron was available throughout our due diligence process and brought in several experts for comments and recommendations. Ron finally said “Why don’t you just build a new home?”. That sums up the extent of the investment we were prepared to make.
Ron assembled his team and began the nearly eight month renovation. The exterior foorprint remained the same but much of the interior was scrapped and redesigned. His employees were easy to work with and considerate of our to day meddling. Although, Sue and I were on site for most of the work, we did have six weeks that we were off island. During this time both Ron and his construction team leader were in constant contact with us. I was a bit concerned regarding the stringent Wailea Community Association rules that dictate noise levels, days and times allowed, smoking, language, parking and the appearance of excess trash. Not only did Ron’s team obey and respect these rules but i still had happy neighbors at the conclusion.
In the end, and on budget, Ron and his crew hit a home run. The involved realtors re-visited the home and were amazed at the transformation and quality of work. A neighbor toured the home and called it a “magazine home”. I would be happy to take your call to review our experience.
