Wailea Ekahi 22D

The owners of this beautiful one bedroom, upper floor unit, did an excellent job of choosing many of the components that went into this total renovation. There were too many improvements to name them all but the major ones include:

All new, custom built on Maui, bamboo cabinets with soft close doors and drawers.

The kitchen was opened up completely by eliminating the large divider post at the end of the counter. Wiring was moved and the bar now has handy outlets in the top tier of the new granite bar. The all new stainless steel appliances add a modern & quality touch. The decorative ivory travertine tile back splash is very impressive and adds another class factor to the new radiant kitchen.

The bathrooms are the same. The Guest Bath was expanded by removing the door and wall between the vanity area and entrance to the shower. This gives the room a much more spacious look. After removal of old bathtubs, each bath now has an inviting walk-in shower.

The 13 inch Alabaster tile on the floors and in both showers is brilliant and includes special glass tile accents on the shower walls, corner benches & soap niches. The plumbing fixtures were also top of the line and all new sinks were under-mounted. Note the elegant light sconces.

The two old window mount Air Conditioners were replaced with a new Split Air system. These are quiet, energy efficient and very affective and provide great comfort.

All tiled floors, inside and on the lanais, were replaced with modern 13 x 13 inch natural colored porcelain tile with a border tile around all rooms. The border tile protects the new carpet. The wall tile in the showers is also an extension of the floor tile for a smooth transition. The ½ inch thick glass shower panels protect from excessive water spillage.

Attractive new ceiling fans provide that little extra comfort when the air conditioner isn’t desired.
All the old popcorn ceilings were removed and this included the vaulted ones in the living room. All walls and ceilings were patched and painted along with new white wood baseboards. The contrast between the antique white walls and the pure white ceilings, baseboards and doors is subtle and rich looking.

Modern louvered glass windows replaced all original and the Fleetwood Lanai glass slider doors are the finest on the market and slide with a finger touch.

All the doors are now the tropical looking wood mini shutters. The Averte window coverings also add to the tropical look and are also easy to use.

The new carpet in the living room and bedroom add to the warmth and comfort throughout this delightful Wailea Ekahi showplace. This will be a popular rental unit desired by all.
