MANA KAI MAUI 301

The owners of this unit also had 2 others we remodeled at the same time. They are all the same with the magnificent “Sapele” wood cabinets. This is a variance from the other rental units because the owner wanted something a little darker and unique than the bamboo being used in most of the other remodels. These are all “custom made” cabinets and made to take advantage of all available space. Kitchen and both baths have the same Sapele cabinets.

The floors, including the lanai, are the porcelain 18 inch tile recommended by the association but we laid them in a diagonal design which costs a little more but also more distinctive. Minimal 1/8th inch grout lines will keep the floors looking new for years. We also used the same floor tile to flow up the wainscot walls and is also on the vanity floors. It coordinates beautifully with the 12 x 24 wall tile chosen by the HOA for the tub and shower surrounds. Distinctive decorative tile was used on the walls. Also, note the special decorative back splash tile in the kitchen.

High end plumbing was used throughout and includes a new tub, ADA comfort height toilets, all under-mount sinks and shut off valves.

Impressive top quality G.E., stainless steel appliances were installed and include a “counter-depth” French door refrigerator/freezer and a Bosch dishwasher.

The Shoji doors are also made of the Sapele and they roll with fingertip ease on top quality stainless steel wheels and all new tracks. They have rain-glass opaque windows that allow for privacy and still keep the rooms light and cherry.

Elegant carpet, Averte window coverings, MinkaAir ceiling fans, new lighting and mirrors make this unit a Mana Kai showplace with a dazzling ocean front view.

“B” UNIT — As you can see, we also installed a Sapele wood desk that has the space for the refrigerator, microwave and T.V. We also rearranged the closets to allow for additional shelving and still have adequate hanging space.
